Scope: High-level marketing plan covering social media and buzz/viral marketing

Description: Client wanted to leverage the strength of customers’ existing social networks and connections to continue to build business.  This plan covered well-known social media tools like Facebook and LinkedIn and explained how best to use them in a holistic marketing strategy.  Subsequent tactical documents detailed the use of Facebook “apps” and website “widgets” in extending the impact of social media.

Direct results of this marketing plan included the deployment of a blog and development of a corporate Facebook profile.  As of November, the company has successfully used social media strategies to increase traffic to their sales website by 20% through their blog and Facebook/Twitter pages.
